Severe forms of Alopecia require much patience and long treatment. It is absolutely necessary for a patient and a doctor together to make joint efforts to restore hair growth and to prevent further loss.

Patients who have accepted their condition are bad candidates for forthcoming treatment.

In the case of Alopecia areata hair follicles stay in a resting phase and could initiate regrowth for 10-12 years after hair loss. Then their gradual atrophy takes place.

The treatment program consists of 1-3 five day treatment courses. The intervals between the courses should not be more than 70-100 days. During this time you should continue taking prescribed therapy and medicines by yourself.
